Rogues Gallery
Somehow a length of 1” mast has been sleeved into the top of a very old 2” mast. The 2” mast and its chimney brackets look as if they might well date from the 1950s or 1960s. After that – well, it’s been a free-for-all by the looks of it. From the bottom there’s an FM halo, then a 1970s/80s Jaybeam MBM30, then a contract quality 18 element that’s about to lose its reflector, then a similar 14 element, with an Antiference TC13B at the top. The cantilevered support for the upper mast is, well, novel.
I’ve only included this in the Rogues’ section because the mast is overloaded. I give it top marks for ingenuity and chutzpah.
