Considerable effort has gone into the taping of the cable to the mast, but less has gone into the tightening of the tilt clamp. Actually, when you are used to a non-tilting clamp with only two bolts it’s easy to forget the extra two on a tilting clamp. But when an aerial has been fixed to a mast it should be subjected to a good wiggle about to make sure it’s secure.
