Have you ever visited Royal Crescent at Bath? It’s the greatest example of Georgian architecture in the world. It’s a priceless jewel from a bygone age, an irreplaceable treasure in our modern world of architectural mediocrity. So some aerial rigger comes along and defaces the façade with cables. And worse, someone lets him do it. 250 years ago a team of dedicated craftsmen did their utmost to create beauty out of stone, and then we modem philistines drop cables across it. We should be ashamed.
