Rogues Gallery

This building was the village school near where our family lived in the early years of the last century. Then, in 2005 it was converted to flats. Many bad things were done to the building, but nothing quite as horrendous as this. This was on the building in a place where it hit you in the eye, whereas it could easily have been hidden.

The picture was taken by me, jaw dropping to my boots, before the installers had fitted the cables. The mini-dish is totally inadequate for a distribution system, and should never be mounted at the top of a 1.25” mast along with an aerial. It’s bad enough when they do something like this on a new red-brick bog standard building, but when they desecrate a nice building that is special to a lot of local people, it really is a disgrace.
