This is a pair of 24” ‘T & K’ wall brackets. Because of the distance from the wall to the mast this type of bracket should be fixed at least 20% of the total mast length apart. Obviously this hasn’t happened here. The installer has even had to cut away a section of the bargeboard. If it really was impossible to get the brackets further apart, brackets with less stand off would have been better. If the fixing space allowed it, a pair of small tripod brackets would have been better still. And given the fixing limitations the mast should have been shorter even if poor signal conditions needed it to be long, because safety is more important than good TV reception.
