Albert's Attic Gallery
Having
made his own TV set, the enthusiast of 1950 could if he wished go
on to make his own aerial as well. It seems that quite a few small
engineering and electrical firms around the country saw the potential
of the new market, and the Practical Televisions of that era were
full of ads for aerial components. You could even buy working drawings
of 'tested designs' for five shillings and sixpence!
