Nigel Kendrick writes:
I took this one in Julianstown, County Meath, Republic of Ireland.
It's
about 30 miles north of Dublin and it’s a further 30 miles
from Julianstown to the Northern Irish border. The house is in
a shallow river valley and I guess this is either a lash up for
local reception or to pick up a UK TV signal from north of the
border.
The quad bow-tie is atop three metal poles fixed to a 'standard'
telegraph
pole that, as far as I can tell, goes all the way to the ground.
I reckon the
overall height is 30 to 35 metres!
