Aerial photography - Ancient Gallery
During
the 70s the VHF and UHF TV systems operated side by side. Most
people needed both types of aerial, so the manufacturers brought
out various combination arrays. Fortunately most of the VHF and
UHF transmitters were co-sited. The photograph shows a combined
UHF Group A and VHF Band III array. It looks like an Antiference
product. Note the two separate downleads TV sets had two
aerial sockets! These combined arrays never really caught on.
