Rogues Gallery

Something an experienced aerial rigger will always be aware of is the possibility of the installation tapping against masonry or another aerial when the wind blows. The sound this makes will travel down chimneys are can seem surprisingly loud inside the building, especially at night when the occupier is trying to sleep.
The installer’s access here must have been the flat roof behind the white parapet. So, why not take a ladder up there and reach up a bit higher? A shorter mast, and the cutting off of the unnecessary length of boom to the left of the clamp, would have avoided the risk of tapping.
