Close examination shows that this is a multi-output masthead amplifier, with several white cables connected and neatly taped together. The black cable, which hangs from the amplifier with no other support, could be a later addition. It will most certainly pull out of the amplifier. Incidentally the pieces of tape holding the cable to the mast are much too far apart, and the use of a 1” mast for an aerial of this size is dubious. If you look closely you can see that the cable between the aerial and the amplifier takes a turn around the mast at chimney level. This probably puts it in a position where mast movement will cause it to rub on the protruding masonry.
