Wright's Aerials

Rogues Gallery

When this small estate of bungalows was built it was decided to provide TV aerials. It was far too much trouble to find a competent installer — it’s only public money after all — and these pictures show the result.

The aerials are cheap contract wideband types, but the area receives only weak signals from a Group B transmitter so a good quality grouped aerial would normally be regarded as essential.  The aerials are installed in positions which are far too close to the masonry, and some of the masts are almost touching the dipoles.

This is disgraceful work and it shows a lamentable lack of contract supervision. No wonder we pay so much tax. And what about the disabled and elderly residents, who after all have to watch TV via these aerials?
