I’ve always
taken it for granted that removing scrap aerials is part of the
job. It’s a safety issue because no-one else thinks about
old aerials until they come crashing down. This was a shared chimney,
but the splendid old Band III aerial was on the same side of the
property line as the new installation. Look at that Band III aerial
– not an element out of place after 45 years! How long will
present-day aerials last I wonder?
