Rogues Gallery

If an aerial is in close proximity to other objects it cannot work properly. This applies especially to large multi-element arrays. The person who fixed this Antiference XG14B (that’s the big aerial) shown here either didn’t know this, or he didn’t care. With other aerials just above, the stack just below, the cowl just to one side, and the mast between the elements, this expensive product might as well be the cheapest of ten-element arrays. Note also the loose cables and the re-use of an old chimney fixing.

The black object (arrowed) is the cap from the junction box, hanging on its plastic strap. The fact that it isn’t actually on the junction box means that the box and the cable will both fill with water each time it rains.
