Photographs of some of our work
The requirement was to receive DTT on ch48 from Belmont. Unfortunately the site is very close to the Emley Moor mast, which radiates analogue on ch47 and DTT on ch49. To minimise the Emley Moor signals and thus make life a little easier for the filters and amplifiers, two Group B aerials were mounted one above the other and the outputs combined. The distance between the aerials was adjusted for maximum cancellation of the Emley Moor signals that rained down from on high. It worked!
