Inside this decorative rooftop err . . . thing, was wooden carcassing that provided the only secure fixing. The blue walls that you can see were just some sort of flimsy cladding. The instruction was that all bracketry had to be the same blue as the ‘thing’, so we had special brackets made and powder coated in the appropriate RAL number. We put bolts right through the carcassing.

Next
