Albert's Attic Gallery
The word 'balun' is short for 'balanced to unbalanced'. A balun is an efficient way to transfer the energy collected by a balanced dipole to an unbalanced co-axial feeder. These pictures show the balun fitted to the first UHF aerial produced in large numbers by Antiference.
