I’ll let David tell the story: “I’d just installed this TCX18A when the homeowner decided to put some paper on the fire below. It wouldn't have been a problem but the paper flew up the chimney still on fire, and lit all the soot and charcoal that had built up over time. I was up the bloody ladder at the time too.  The flames shot out of the chimney vent horizontally and flame grilled my new installation for about 5 minutes, no joke! The photo was taken afterwards when just the embers were coming out.
