Aerial Photography - Modern

This array is in the English midlands, looking over a bit of a hill towards Sutton Coldfield. Someone has obviously made a determined attempt to harvest what bit of signal crawls over the hill. The two aerials are European imports of a type that sheds elements readily, as you can see. I wonder if the over-long cross-arm indicates that some experimentation with the inter-aerial spacing took place.
